Prodiem relieves constipation and prevents straining for bowel movement. Prodiem works on nerve endings in the walls of the intestine and the rectum.
Prodiem is more useful medicine that used on a short-term basis to treat constipation and empty the bowels before surgery and examinations such as X-ray procedures using barium enemas. Some times Prodiem is also used for the treatment and relief of IBS known as irritable Bowel Syndrome.
