Preparation H Cream provides prompt soothing relief from painful burning, itching and discomfort and reduces swollen hemorrhoidal tissues. Preparation H Cream is a smooth cream formula that is effective at relieving external hemorrhoidal symptoms. Regular application and lubrication with Preparation H Cream provides continual therapy for relief of hemorrhoidal symptoms. Apply externally to the affected area up to 4 times daily, especially at night, in the morning and after each bowel movement. Preparation H Cream is to be applied externally or in the lower portion of the anal canal only. A dispensing cap is enclosed in each package to control dispersion of the cream to the affected area in the lower portion of the anal canal. Before applying, remove protective cover from dispensing cap. Attach dispensing cap to tube. Lubricate dispensing cap well, then gently insert dispensing cap part way into the anus. Thoroughly cleanse dispensing cap after each use and replace protective cover. Children under 12 years of age: consult a doctor.
