Take control of lice infestation with
Kwellada-P Creme Rinse. Effective treatment of head lice and their nits. Second application of Kwellada-P is strongly recommended 7-10 days after initial treatment to kill any newly hatched nymphs. Kwellada-P is formulated with permethrin. Lice can be killed with the use of permethrin (Kwellada-P Creme Rinse), a proven agent for the treatment of lice. Nit comb included for easy removal of dead lice and nits. Kwellada-P Creme Rinse should not be used by persons allergic to chrysanthemum, pyrethrin, or synthetic pyrethroids (permethrin). Do not use Kwellada-P Creme Rinse on eyelashes or eyebrows. Do not exceed 2 applications of Kwellada-P Creme Rinse in 24 hours. Kwellada-P Creme Rinse is for external use only. Kwellada-P Creme Rinse is harmful if swallowed. Do not inhale Kwellada-P Creme Rinse. Contact should be avoided with eyelashes, eyes, nose and mouth, and other mucosal areas. In the case of infection or skin irritation, discontinue use of Kwellada-P Creme Rinse and consult a physician.

The following instructions are for
Kwellada-P Creme Rinse ONLY. Please read and follow treatment instructions CAREFULLY. Kwellada-P Creme Rinse will only kill lice effectively if used as directed:

1. Shampoo hair with a conditioner-free shampoo, rinse well with warm water, and thoroughly towel dry before treating with Kwellada-P Creme Rinse.

2. Shake product well before using. With scissors snip off the tip of the applicator cap.

3. Unscrew cap on bottle and replace with enclosed applicator cap.

4. Apply Kwellada-P Creme Rinse to shampooed and towel dried hair. Apply sufficient Kwellada-P Creme Rinse to damp hair. Saturate the hair and scalp (25-50mL).

5. Leave Kwellada-P Creme Rinse on for 10 minutes.

6. Rinse thoroughly with water and dry with a towel.

7. Remove dead lice and eggs with the following steps:
• Comb wet hair with a regular comb to remove snarls
• Separate a strand of hair not wider than the nit comb
• Using the enclosed nit comb tilted toward the scalp, comb the strand from the scalp to the end of the hair
• Repeat to remove all eggs, comb all strands in this manner.

Note: Lice may take up to 24 hours to die after treatment.

8. Store unused Kwellada-P Creme Rinse by removing the applicator cap from the bottle and replacing it with the original cap. Rinse the applicator cap and air dry. Store the Kwellada-P Creme Rinse between 15-30º C.

Note: A second application of Kwellada-P Creme Rinse may be required 7 days after the first application if you see live lice or nits (eggs).

Protect against re-infestation:

To prevent the infestation from spreading, follow these instructions carefully:

• Notify any person who has been in close contact with you so that other cases can be found and treated in the same time frame

• Soak brushes and combs in hot water above 54º C for 5-10 minutes then rinse thoroughly with hot water

• Articles such as clothing, towels and bed linens may harbour lice or nits. To clean:
- Wash all clothing, towels, bedding, etc. in very hot water and dry in the dryer by using the hot cycle for at least 20 minutes, or
- Seal in a plastic bag for two weeks and wash normally

Do not use Kwellada-P Creme Rinse if you are allergic to chrysanthemum, pyrethrin, or synthetic pyrethroids. Do not use Kwellada-P Creme Rinse on eyelashes or eyebrows. Scabies mites burrow under the skin and cause intense itching. Kwellada-P Lotion kills the parasites and their eggs, but it does not prevent infestations.
